Since I can remember, my house has been full of pictures and portraits all over the place... Those shinny papers with a portrait of myself or antique pictures of my parents are my first memories of that passion that is now part of me.
Those shinny papers contained color, shape, moments and magic, and that is what I love to capture.
Although I don’t do it with much frequency and not many people know, when I hang my camera on my neck and start shooting, I forget about everything. I see life –literally- from another angle. Through the lenses I find beauty, harmony, colors and shapes that we don’t always pay the deserved attention to.
That is why I decided to be more conscious of this gift and passion for 30 days and capture the moments of each day in which I’m simply happy. Although I love photography and really enjoy taking pictures, I have to admit that lately, I have left this passion behind. I thought that creating a habit of taking a picture every day would be a great opportunity to bring this passion back to life.
Either it is the picture of a view, the perfect design of a tiger, the contagious smile of my brother, a shot of one of my passions, or a selfie, I am always trying to capture significant moments of my day.
I shoot, I capture, I leave a footprint and a memory of those moments that are almost perfect to me.
When I look at the pictures I took and look back to those 30 days, I see simplicity and that makes me happy.
