Like most of my friends can recall, I do not enjoy reading.
I get distracted and overwhelmed very easily which makes it hard for me to get hooked. I can only name a few tittles that I have been able to really savour. This past summer I knew I had to read a book, to me this was a challenge.
After trying a bunch of different books and failing to find one that was entertaining Belen one of my friends from the IA recommended "Tease" by Amanda Maciel. If you like controversy, justice, drama and thrill this book carries all. It narrates the story of a high school teenager facing charges for bullying a girl to death.

You may have heard of several cases very similar to these in the newspaper, but what really makes the story line have much more depth is not only that it is inspired by real-life incidents, but that the author refuses to takes sides, which indeed causes a lot of controversy. She narrates the plot in the way that the reader doesn't create an emotional bond with neither the bully nor the supposed victim. She tells both sides of the story, describes each girls feelings and compares and contrasts each others situation.
The book starts, and it has already hooked you. It starts with the girl taking her life, and the trial starting and then it goes back in time to when everything starts. There are parts of the books which make you doubt wether or not Sarah Putnam (the bully) is indeed a victim, or if Sarah Wharton is trying to cover up her actions.
A must read for anybody who is ready to jump into a roller coaster ride of events. I recommend this to anyone who is willing to expect the unexpected, and be prepared to be surprised every time you turn the page.
